“Support for New Hardware Products” Section

The “Support for New Hardware Products” section in the Sun Management Center 3.5 Update 1 Supplement (Chapter 1, page 10) had incomplete information. The UltraSPARC® IV CPU board support applies to the Sun Fire 6800/4800, Sun Fire V1280, and Netra 1280 systems. If you install the UltraSPARC IV CPU/Memory board upgrade in a Sun Fire V1280 or Netra 1280 system, you must install the following:

• Midrange systems firmware 5.17.0

• Netra-T Add-on packages for Sun Management Center 3.5 Update 1

The Sun Fire V1280 and Netra 1280 systems are also called the Sun Fire entry-level midrange systems.
