By default, diagnostic status and error messages are displayed on the local system console or terminal. If your server has been reconfigured to display output on an RSC console, diagnostic results will not display locally. To redirect diagnostic messages to the local console, you must use the OpenBoot PROM command diag-output-to and modify the OpenBoot PROM variables input-device and output-device.
