Netra 20 Server Product Notes

This document contains late-breaking information about changes to the Netra trademark 20 server hardware, software, or documentation that became known after the documentation set was published.

Enabling the System LEDs

The System LEDs of the Netra 20 server are off by default. To enable the System LEDs, perform the following procedure as superuser of the system.

1. Verify that the /platform/sun4u/kernel/drv/lomv.conf file contains the following line:

wdog_alarm3=1

2. If you needed to edit the lomv.conf file, perform a full system reset.

3. In a console window, enable the LOM watchdog. Type:

# lom -W on

The System LEDs illuminate.

DIMM Slot Connector Reference Designators

The Netra 20 Service and System Reference Manual (806-7336-14) includes figures that contain incorrect reference designators (system board labels) for the DIMM slot connectors. The following figures in the Netra 20 Service and System Reference Manual mislabel the DIMM slot connectors: Figure 4-1 (page 4-6), Figure 8-5 (page 9-11), Figure 8-9 (page 9-18), Figure 10-6 (page 10-9), and Figure 10-18 (page 10-39).

TABLE 1 lists the correct reference designators, and FIGURE 1 and FIGURE 2 are updated figures that show the location of the Netra 20 server DIMM slot connectors.
