The N1TM Provisioning Server software provides a comprehensive infrastructure automation solution. This solution enhances the management, visibility, and control of the Sun FireTM B1600 Blade System Chassis. The software allows the complete design configuration, deployment, and management of multiple independent, secure, logical server farms.
The Control Center is the user interface from which you deploy and manage logical server farms in an N1 environment. This guide provides detailed instructions on using the Control Center screens to perform farm management tasks.
This guide is intended for data center administrators. These technical users are familiar with network, computing, and storage technology: network designers and IT architects, who can create and activate farm designs.
The Control Center is referred to as the Control Center or CC throughout this document. This user guide is divided into the following chapters:
Part I, Control Center Management Concepts provides a general overview of farm management. This part includes a high-level description of the N1 Provisioning Server software and how the software works within an Infrastructure Fabric (I-Fabric). Control Center navigation, accounts, and software image management are also discussed in this part of the guide.
Part II, Farm Management Tasks provides specific instructions on how to design, configure, and provide ongoing management of logical server farms.
