Preface

This document contains late-breaking information and issues for the Sun Fire trademark X4140, X4240 and X4440 servers. This document also contains procedures and special information for upgrading the Sun Fire X4140, X4240, and X4440 Servers Product Notes to software release 3.1, 3.0, 2.3, 2.2, 2.1 and 2.1.1.

This document is written for technicians, system administrators, authorized service providers (ASPs), and users who have advanced experience troubleshooting and maintaining software and hardware.
