This guide describes how to install the Suntrademark XVR-1200 graphics accelerator in your Sun computer system.


How This Book Is Organized

Chapter 1 provides an overview of the Sun XVR-1200 graphics accelerator product and includes features and supported screen resolutions.

Chapter 2 describes how to install the Sun XVR-1200 graphics accelerator software.

Chapter 3 describes how to install the Sun XVR-1200 graphics accelerator hardware in Sun Bladetrademark 2000 and Sun Firetrademark 6800/6900 systems.

Chapter 4 describes how to modify the Xservers configuration file for running more than one frame buffer and how to use Xinerama to configure multiple frame buffers.

Chapter 5 provides information on using Sun XVR-1200 graphics accelerator features, including dynamic multisample antialiasing.

Chapter 6 describes framelocking multiple Sun XVR-1200 graphics accelerators.

Appendix A describe how to set the Sun XVR-1200 graphics accelerator as the default monitor console display.

Appendix B provides I/O port specifications for the Sun XVR-1200 graphics accelerator.

Appendix C lists the Sun OpenGL for Solaris graphics library extensions for the Sun XVR-1200 graphics accelerator.
