Problem

When you perform an installation using DHCP, the DNS domain name is entered as the NIS domain. The installation process requires several minutes to set your system up as an NIS client. 

Solution  

Perform the following steps:

1. Launch YaST2

2. Select Network Services -> NIS client

3. Remove the entry from Additional NIS Domains
