Instant Messaging サーバーとマルチプレクサの起動と停止

Instant Messaging サーバーを起動すると、Instant Messenger クライアントがサーバーに接続できるようになります。Instant Messaging サーバーを停止すると、すべての接続が閉じ、クライアントはすべて切断されます。インスタンスごとの設定で、有効にする対象をマルチプレクサのみ、サーバーのみ、または両方の製品コンポーネントのいずれかに指定できます。

Instant Messaging とマルチプレクサの起動

InstantMessaging-base/sbin/ ディレクトリに移動します。次に例を示します。

Solaris OS の場合: cd /opt/SUNWiim/sbin

Linux の場合: cd /opt/sun/im/sbin

次のコマンドを入力して、Instant Messaging サーバーとマルチプレクサプロセスを起動します。
./imadmin start

Instant Messaging プロセスが実行中であることを確認します。

./imadmin status

Server           [UP}
Multiplexor      [UP]
Agent:calendar   [DOWN]
Watchdog         [UP]

Instant Messaging の停止

InstantMessaging-base/sbin/ ディレクトリに移動します。次に例を示します。

Solaris OS の場合: cd /opt/SUNWiim/sbin

Linux の場合: cd /opt/sun/im/sbin

次のコマンドを入力して、Instant Messaging サーバーとマルチプレクサプロセスを起動します。
./imadmin stop

Instant Messaging プロセスが実行されていないことを確認します。
./imadmin check
