To Uninstall the Proxy Using vdp-uninstall GUI
The following section describes how to uninstall a Sun OpenDS Standard Edition proxy using vdp-uninstall.
Note - The vdp-uninstall command does not uninstall any of the Sun OpenDS Standard Edition directory servers that you may be accessing with the Sun OpenDS Standard Edition proxy. To uninstall a Sun OpenDS Standard Edition directory server, see Uninstalling the Directory Server.
Uninstalling the Sun OpenDS Standard Edition proxy will stop the proxy if the proxy is running, and remove all or part of the proxy installation files and directories, as well as global index replication, if configured.
You can uninstall the Sun OpenDS Standard Edition proxy using one of the following modes:
Graphical user interface (GUI) mode. See To Uninstall the Proxy Using vdp-uninstall GUI.
Interactive command-line mode. See To Uninstall the Proxy Using the CLI.
Quiet uninstall mode. To Uninstall by Using the CLI with No Prompt.
