Batching Performance

To illustrate the benefits of batching, the examples in Failed Cross Reference Format, Failed Cross Reference Format, and Example 4-25were completed to render the lines in a 25144-line file. The rendering service simply throws the lines away. The batched version of the application was four times as fast as the unbatched version.
