About the Informix Adapter

The Adapter is a component that connects Sun Java CAPS ESB and the Informix Dynamic Server (IDS) database. The Adapter is designed to handle all the communication details necessary to send and receive data between these components.

In addition to handling communications, the Adapter can also apply business logic within Collaboration Rules to perform any of Sun Java CAPS ESB’s range of data identification, manipulation, and transformation operations.
