You can enable or disable privacy mode and failover mode either through the web interface or the CLI. See 10 GbE NIC Virtualizationfor more information on when to enable private or failover mode.
Note - Both private mode and failover mode can be in effect at the same time. However, each state must be enabled one at a time. Enabling them together can cause an error. Private mode will take precedence when they are both enabled.
