To Open a Document from a Web Space Server Document Library

Before You Begin

The Web Space Server Document Library containing the document you want to open must be accessible and writable by your Web Space Server user account. If you are uncertain about whether your account has sufficient privileges, contact your Web Space Server site administrator.

1. Start the desired OpenOffice application, and click the Open from CMS toolbar button.

   

   You are prompted to select the Web Space Server community you want to access.

   

2. Select the Web Space Server community that contains the Document Library you want to access, and then click Continue.

   The Load Document dialog displays a list of remote folders and documents available to the selected community.

   

3. Select the folder and document you want to open, and then click Open.

   The selected document is opened in OpenOffice.
