About Web Proxy Server 4.0.1The Sun Java System Web Proxy Server supports HTTP caching and platform acceleration for high performance Internet and Intranet environments. The primary functions of the Sun Java System Web Proxy Server are Proxying, Caching, Authentication, Filtering, Access Control, Logging & Reporting.

The following enhancement has been made in Proxy Server 4.0.1:
NSS 3.10.1 and NSPR 4.5.2 Support
Proxy Server 4.0.1 supports Network Security Services (NSS) 3.10.1 and Netscape Portable Runtime (NSPR) 4.5.2.
Hardware and Software Requirements
The HP-UX operating system memory and disk space requirements listed in Platform Requirements on your system must also have adequate swap space HP-UX 11i v1 requires swap space at least as large as the amount of RAM on your system (twice the amount of RAM is recommended).
