Before You Read This Book
This guide is intended for the Sun Enterprise 10000 system administrator who has a working knowledge of UNIX® systems, particularly those based on the Solaris operating environment. If you do not have such knowledge, first read the Solaris user documentation provided with this system, and consider UNIX system administration training.
Also read and be familiar with the
TCP/IP and Data Communications Administration Guide
that is provided with your server.
How This Book Is Organized
This guide contains one chapter that describes how to configure and reconfigure a Sun Enterprise 10000 domain before and after a DR operation.
Using UNIX Commands
This document does not contain complete information on basic UNIX commands and procedures such as shutting down the system, booting the system, and configuring devices. See the Solaris software documentation that you received with your system for this information.
