Solaris 9 9/05 HW Software Required by Certain SPARC Platforms

Certain SPARC platforms require Solaris 9 9/05 HW software and can not use the Solaris 9 9/05 software. To determine if a SPARC system must use Solaris 9 9/05 HW, refer to the Solaris 9 9/05 HW Release Notes Supplement for Sun Hardware and the Hardware Compatibility List.

SPARC platforms that were supported by the Solaris 9 9/05 release can also be installed with Solaris 9 9/05 HW software.
