• GNOME 2.0 Desktop for the Solaris Operating Environment System Administration Guide

  Describes system administration requirements and functionality.

• GNOME 2.0 Desktop for the Solaris Operating Environment User Guide

  Describes how to use the features and main applications in the desktop environment. The information in the user guide might be slightly different from information in GNOME Help. The user guide is more up-to-date than the GNOME Help.

You can view all of the manuals on the following website: http://docs.sun.com. The manuals on the website might be more recent versions than the manuals in the download package.

To view a manual, you must first unpack the desktop environment files, as described in the GNOME 2.0 Desktop for the Solaris Operating Environment Installation Guide. See the chapter Information About Working With the Desktop, for the location of the manuals in the unpacked desktop environment files.
