The Sun StorEdge D240 media tray is now supported with the following additional features:
The Sun StorEdge D240 media tray supports a variety of Sun servers. TABLE 1 shows the Sun servers supported by the D240 Media Tray.
TABLE 2 shows the HBAs, servers, onboard connection options, and cables supported for use with the D240 Media Tray. All the cables listed are RoHS cables.

Note - Each D240 Media Tray ships with two cables: one X3832A-Z 2m SCSI-3/VHDCI SCSI cable, and one X1139A 2m SCSI-3/SCSI-3 cable. |
To Configure the Storage Subsystem Manager Software with the Name of the Sun StorEdge D240 Media Tray |
This procedure is optional. It changes only the name of the media tray, which displays in messages from the software.
1. If the Storage Subsystem Manager software is running, stop it.
2. Change to the /etc/opt/SUNWssm directory.
3. Use the editor of your choice to change "D130" to "D240" or to "D130/D240" in the STORAGE NAME variable in the ssmon.conf file.
4. Start the Storage Subsystem Manager software.
