Running pkgadd

Steps 7 to 8.

7. For each adapter pkgadd asks to confirm the settings you have specified. For example:

You have specified the following setting:

Ring speed: 0

IP address: 129.144.25.93

Host name: host3

Note:

    Do not use the same hostname or IP address as your primary interface. It must be a unique address in the token ring subnet.

Please confirm that this is correct (y/n) [y] ?y

To confirm that these settings are correct press [ENTER]. If you wish to change the settings press "n" and [ENTER].

8. When you have provided the configuration information for every adapter in your machine you are asked where the trp driver should be stored. If you want the default press [ENTER], if not, enter a path name and press [ENTER]. For example:

Where should the driver be installed [/platform/sun4u/kernel/drv] [?,q]

Pkgadd will display the following message.

Using  as the package base directory.

## Processing package information.

## Processing system information.

## Verifying disk space requirements.

## Checking for conflicts with packages already installed.

## Checking for setuid/setgid programs.

This package contains scripts which will be executed with super-user permission during the process of installing this package.
