Solstice DiskSuite의 초기 설치

다음 절에서는 소프트웨어가 전혀 설치되지 않은 x86 시스템이나 SPARC에 Solstice DiskSuite의 지역 또는 원격 설치 준비 방법을 설명합니다.

지역 설치 준비 방법

이 절차는 시스템에서 볼륨 관리가 실행되고 있다는 것을 전제로 합니다. 이 절차는 SPARC 및 x86 구조에 모두 해당됩니다.

  1. CD-ROM 드라이브에 소프트웨어가 들어있는 CD를 넣습니다.

    필요에 따라 먼저 캐디에 CD를 넣습니다.

  2. /cdrom/cdrom0/products/DiskSuite_4.2 디렉토리로 변경합니다.


    local# cd /cdrom/cdrom0/products/DiskSuite_4.2/`uname -p`

    -p 옵션과 함께 uname를 사용하면 구조(sparc나 i386)에 맞는 올바른 DiskSuite 버전이 들어 있는 디렉토리로 갈 수 있습니다. 이제 Solstice DiskSuite 4.2를 설치할 준비가 되었습니다.

원격 설치 준비 방법

  1. 원격 시스템에서 CD-ROM 드라이브에 소프트웨어가 들어있는 CD를 넣습니다.

    필요에 따라 먼저 캐디에 CD를 넣습니다.

  2. /etc/dfs/dfstab파일에 다음 중 한 행과 비슷한 행을 넣습니다.


    share -F nfs -o ro -d "CD-ROM Directory" /cdrom/cdrom0/products

    이 행은 시스템의 네트워크 구성 방법에 따라 달라질 수 있습니다.

  3. shareall명령으로 /cdrom/cdrom0/ 디렉토리를 내보냅니다. 


    remote# shareall

  4. 지역 시스템에서 루트로 로그인합니다.

  5. 디렉토리가 이미 존재하지 않으면 디렉토리 /cdrom/cdrom0/를 작성합니다.


    local# mkdir -p /cdrom/cdrom0/

    /cdrom/cdrom0/외에 다른 디렉토리를 선택할 수도 있습니다.

  6. CD-ROM를 다음과 같이 마운트합니다.


    local# mount remote_machinename:/cdrom/cdrom0/ /cdrom/cdrom0/

    /cdrom/cdrom0/products/DiskSuite_4.2 디렉토리로 변경합니다.


    local# cd /cdrom/cdrom0/products/DiskSuite_4.2/`uname -p`

    -p 옵션과 함께 uname을 사용하면 구조(sparc 또는 i386)에 맞는 정확한 DiskSuite 버전이 들어있는 디렉토리로 갈 수 있습니다.

    이제 Solstice DiskSuite 4.2를 설치할 준비가 되었습니다.

패키지 추가

이 절에서는 DiskSuite 패키지를 설치하는데 사용할 수 있는 3가지 방법에 관해 설명합니다. 소프트웨어 관리자 그래픽 사용자 인터페이스로 패키지를 설치하려면 "소프트웨어 관리자를 사용한 패키지 추가 방법"로 갑니다. pkgadd 명령으로 패키지를 설치하려면 "pkgadd 명령을 사용한 패키지 추가 방법"로 갑니다.

소프트웨어 관리자를 사용한 패키지 추가 방법

이 절차는 root가 sysadmin 그룹(GID 14)의 구성원이라는 것을 전제로 합니다.

  1. 루트로 소프트웨어 관리자를 시작합니다.


    # swmtool &

    Solaris 2.5이상 버전에서는 관리 도구가 호출됩니다.

  2. [편집] 메뉴에서 [추가]를 선택합니다.

    관리도구: [원본 매체 설정] 윈도우가 나타날 수 있습니다. 이럴 경우 설치 매체의 경로를 지정한 다음 [확인]을 누릅니다. 기본 경로는 마운트된 CD입니다.

  3. 설치할 패키지를 선택합니다.

    소프트웨어 목록에서 각 소프트웨어 구성 요소 옆에 있는 상자를 누릅니다. 각 구성 요소 마다 여러 개의 패키지가 있습니다.

    관리도구를 사용하여 소프트웨어를 설치할 경우, 패키지는 선택 순서와는 관계 없이 적절한 순서대로 설치됩니다.

  4. [추가] 버튼을 누릅니다.

    설치 과정 중 [명령 도구] 윈도우가 나타납니다.

  5. 설치를 계속할 것인지 묻는 프롬프트에 y로 응답합니다.

  6. 설치 종료 후 나타나는 다음과 같은 메시지는 무시합니다.


    System warning: No such file or directory, extras menu file 
/usr/lib/.text_extras_menu (Textsw package)

pkgadd 명령을 사용한 패키지 추가 방법

  1. 루트로서 CD-ROM이 마운트된 디렉토리로 변경합니다.

    지역 또는 원격 설치를 준비할 때 지정한 디렉토리를 사용합니다. /cdrom/cdrom0/products/DiskSuite_4.2/`uname -p` 디렉토리로 변경하여 시스템 구조에 대한 배포가 들어 있는 디렉토리에 자동 위치 시킵니다.


    # cd /cdrom/cdrom0/products/DiskSuite_4.2/`uname -p`

  2. pkgadd를 실행하여 패키지를 설치합니다. 


    # pkgadd -d .
    주 -

    pkgadd 명령이 현재 경로에 없는 경우는, 명령(/usr/sbin/pkgadd)에 대한 전체 경로를 지정해야 합니다.

  3. 설치할 패키지를 선택합니다.

    pkgadd에 따라 사용 가능한 패키지가 표시되고 패키지와 관련된 번호를 입력하라는 프롬프트가 나옵니다.

  4. 설치를 계속할 것인지 묻는 프롬프트에는 y로 응답합니다.

    pkgadd에 따라 다른 시스템의 디렉토리뿐만 아니라/usr/opt/SUNWmd디렉토리에 DiskSuite 파일이 설치됩니다. 이 프로그램은 q를 눌러 종료할 때까지 순환됩니다.

예 - SPARC: pkgadd를 사용하여 지역 CD에서 패키지 추가

다음 페이지에 나오는 예제는 Solaris 2.6이 실행되는 SPARC 시스템에 DiskSuite를 설치하는 방법을 설명합니다.

패키지 제거

DiskSuite 패키지를 제거하려면,pkgrm 명령을 사용하여 설치된 파일을 제거하면 됩니다. 예를 들어, SUNWmd 패키지를 제거하려면 다음을 (루트로서) 입력합니다.

Solaris 운영 체제를 업그레이드할 때 시스템 부트 슬라이스 찾는 방법

미러링된 루트 파일 시스템이 있는 시스템에서 Solaris 설치 소프트웨어는 업그레이드에 사용 가능한 루트 미러에서 사용되는 모든 슬라이스를 표시합니다. 슬라이스 이름에는 시스템의 vfstab과 DiskSuite 구성 데이터베이스의 동일한 슬라이스에 사용되는 번호와는 다른 제어기 번호가 포함될 수도 있습니다. 버그ID 4046177, 4043749, 4017614, 4041649에는 이러한 문제점이 설명되어 있습니다.

모든 업그레이드 가능한 슬라이스가 동일한 제어기 상에 있는 경우에는 제어기 번호 변경을 무시하고 시스템 vfstab안의 루트 슬라이스와 동일한 디스크 번호를 가진 슬라이스를 선택할 수 있습니다. 업그레이드 중과 업그레이드할 슬라이스를 선택하기 전에 다음 단계를 수행하여 시스템 vfstab을 표시할 수 있습니다.

  1. Solaris 설치 소프트웨어로 업그레이드 가능한 슬라이스 목록을 표시하는 경우에는 윈도우 시스템에서 서브쉘을 시작하거나 슬라이스 이름을 기록한 다음 설치 프로그램을 종료합니다.

  2. 명령 쉘에서 설치 소프트웨어가 표시하는 슬라이스 중 하나를 /a에 마운트합니다.


    # mount /dev/dsk/slice_name /a

  3. 시스템의 vfstab을 표시합니다.


    # more /a/etc/vfstab

  4. Solaris 설치 프로그램을 재시작하거나 재개하여 /a/etc/vfstab안의 루트 파일시스템에 마운트된 슬라이스와 동일한 대상 및 디스크 번호를 가진 슬라이스를 업그레이드합니다 .

슬라이스가 서로 다른 제어기에 있는 경우에는 다음 절차를 따라 부트 슬라이스를 찾습니다.

  1. Solaris 설치 소프트웨어로 업그레이드 가능한 슬라이스 목록을 표시하는 경우는 윈도우 시스템에서 서브쉘을 시작하거나 슬라이스 이름을 기록한 다음 설치 프로그램을 종료합니다.

  2. 명령 쉘에서 설치 소프트웨어가 표시하는 슬라이스 중 하나를 /a에 마운트합니다.


    # mount /dev/dsk/slice_name /a

  3. 시스템의 vfstab를 표시합니다.


    # more /a/etc/vfstab

  4. vfstab에서 루트 슬라이스를 찾아 /device 경로를 표시합니다.


    # ls -l /a/dev/dsk/root_slice_name

  5. 다음 명령을 사용하여 각 미니루트의 슬라이스 이름에 해당하는 장치 경로를 찾습니다.


    # ls -l /dev/dsk/slice_name

  6. 설치 프로그램을 재시작하거나 재개해서 시스템 루트 슬라이스와 /device 경로 이름이 동일하거나 거의 비슷한 슬라이스를 업그레이드합니다. Solaris 7과 Solaris 2.5, 2.5.1 및 2.6에서 표시되는 경로 이름은 크게 다르지 않습니다. cmdk(7D)는 Solaris 7의 SCSI 장치 경로 이름 끝에서 sd(7D)으로 대체 되었지만 부트 장치의 경로 이름과 가장 유사한 경로 이름을 별 어려움 없이 선택할 수 있습니다.

업그레이드할 슬라이스를 알 수 없는 경우는 Sun 서비스 센터에 문의하십시오.

슬라이스를 잘못 선택하거나 다른 슬라이스를 업그레이드하면 시스템이 이전 버전에서 재부트됩니다. 이러한 현상이 일어나면 다른 슬라이스에서 업그레이드를 다시 실행합니다.
