SolsticeTMAdminSuiteTM 3.0 A software product that enables you to perform user and host management tasks.
SolsticeTM DiskSuiteTM 4.2 A software product that enables you to manage large numbers of disks, and the data on those disks, to increase storage capacity and data availability.
 Solstice PPP 3.0.1 A communications protocol providing extended Internet connectivity for Solaris and Microsoft Windows systems. With Point-to-Point Protocol (PPP), a Solaris system acts as an Internet router and supports all IP applications transparently over both leased lines and dial-up connections.
Solstice Internet Mail ServerTM 2.0 (SIMS) An advanced mail solution for Solaris workgroups, providing open Internet mail based on standards such as IMAP4, POP3, SMTP, and MIME. It supports disconnected computing for mobile or remote users.
Solaris Management ConsoleTM 1.0 (SMC) A Java-based management tool for the administration of Solaris servers.
 SMC Configuration Wizards Configuration wizards for routing, changing the root password, DNS client and DNS server configurations, and network configuration shutdown.
 Sun Directory Services 3.2 (SDS) A software product providing a comprehensive and flexible directory and naming service. SunTM Enterprise Authentication MechanismTM 1.0 (SEAM) A client/server architecture that provides secure transactions over networks. In addition to strong authentication, it provides data privacy and integrity, as well as single sign-on capabilities. SEAM is based on the Kerberos V5 network authentication protocol.
