Licensing Requirements

The purchase of Solaris Easy Access Server 3.0 entitles you to a minimum of licenses for installing and running the SEAS products. After you have installed the products, you may need to enable a license to run the product.

Licenses You Receive with SEAS

The purchase of SEAS entitles you to the following licenses.

 Solaris PC NetLink (also referred to as SunLink Server) One machine license and unlimited clients. N/A
 Solstice Internet Mail Server 2.0 1 server and 5 mailboxes. License certificate included. Additional mailboxes, Enterprise Upgrade, and Sun Messaging Connectivity Services.
 Sun Directory Services 3.2 No license required for less than 1,000 directories. Additional packs of 10,000, 100,000 and 1,000,000.
 Sun WebServer 2.0 Four servers; eight virtual host domains per server. For unlimited virtual domain hosts, contact your sales representative.
 JDK 1.1.7 One license by the number of users and the class of computer hardware. See the online Binary Code agreement for details. N/A
 Netscape Communicator 4.5 Standard Edition One machine license. N/A

Enabling SEAS Licenses

After you have installed the SEAS products, you may need to enable a license to run the product. Table 5-2 gives brief instructions on enabling product licenses, if needed, and points you to the relevant installation or licensing document for the products.
