Configuring PC NetLink

After a new installation, your server's NetBIOS and PC NetLink software are configured by default as follows:

• NetBIOS comes up in broadcast mode.

• The server is configured as the primary domain controller (PDC).

• The PC NetLink host name is the same as the Solaris host name.

• The Server domain is <hostname>_dom.

• The default password for the Administrator account is password.

You will also need to join a domain, set up WINS, and create shares. See the SunLink Server Administration Guide for information about changing account passwords and configuration settings.

The default password for the Administrator account is displayed on your screen during installation. Be sure to change the default password as soon as possible.
