Supplemento alle note su Solaris 8 2/02 per hardware Sun

Il sistema riporta erroneamente la rimozione dei collegamenti al disco (ID 4418718)

Quando si richiama luxadm remove_device /dev/rdsk/c1t1d0s2, il sistema richiede conferma e riporta che il disco è in fase di arresto e in attesa di essere portato offline. Alla rimozione del disco, premendo Return il sistema comunica che i collegamenti del disco sono stati rimossi.

Tuttavia, i collegamenti del dispositivo non sono effettivamente rimossi. Il disco può successivamente essere re-inserito e utilizzato senza dover eseguire il comando luxadm insert_device. Quando il comando viene in seguito eseguito, il sistema riporta che non sono stati aggiunti nuovi dispositivi e sulla console è visualizzato il messaggio seguente:
