A Web Application module contains one or more of the following application components:
Servlets
JavaServer Pages (JSP)
Tag libraries
HTML pages
images
Classes and other resources
The components in a Web Application module are archived into a WAR file. In addition,
a Web Application module contains deployment descriptor files (web.xml and
an ias-web.xml)in the \WEB-INF directory at the root of the archive,
with no module name prepended. A Web Application module can be deployed as a stand-alone
unit.
