Using the Web Module Properties iPlanet AS Tab

Use this Properties iPlanet AS tab to modify the iPlanet Application Server elements of the web application deployment descriptor that are not associated with a servlet.
Default locale After you have defined all the locales in which this web application will run, specify a default locale from the drop-down list.
EJB Reference Mappings Opens the EJB Reference Mappings editor where you can specify the EJB reference name and the absolute JNDI name that the EJB references corresponding J2EE XML file.
Locale Charset Map Opens the Locale Charset Editor where you can specify the locales that your application supports.
Mapped Security Roles Opens the Mapped Security Roles Editor where you can declare the security roles that are actually used within your organization for this application.
Resource Reference Mappings Opens the Resource Reference Mappings Editor where you can identify the resource reference name and JNDI name.
Session domain Enter a domain value which ends in a valid TLD string such as ".com" or ".uk".
Session path Enter a string identifying a path to the session EJB. The first component of the path must be a "/".
Session scope This field is not validated.
Session security Select True to allow the session to be visible to a secure (HTTPS) server. False (default) to allow the session to be visible to all servers. The session information will persist only if the connection between the browser and the server is over an https connection.
Session sync type Select from Lite (default) synchronization, Local synchronization, or Distributed synchronization.
Session timeout Enter a number (in seconds) to identify the length of time before the active session will time out.
Session timeout type If last access is selected (default), the session will timeout when the length of time is reached, as specified in the session timeout field, since the last access. Alternatively, selecting creation enables the session to timeout when the length of time is reached since the session was created.
