Remote Administration Console

The remote Administration Console is a Java- based graphical tool that allows administrators to control, configure, and monitor SIMS 3.5 network services from any desktop client: Solaris, Windows, or JavaStation. The secure Java^TM Administration Console provides centralized and remote administration, decreasing the need for on-site administrators in remote locations.

You invoke and run the remote Administration Console in Sun's HotJava^TM browser -- and other Web browsers that support JDKTM 1.1.3.

The SIMS 3.5 client CD contains the Microsoft Windows® 95 and NT® versions of the Administration Console.
