Example of Command-Line Installation

This section provides an example for installing SIMS through the command-line interface.

% su

Invoke the command-line interface.

Enter the postmaster ID.

Postmaster User ID [inetmail]: inetmail

License file path [/etc/opt/licenses/licenses_combined#]:

Enter your license file.

Accept installing patches.

Enter the mail server's fully-qualified DNS domain name.

Enter the highest DNS domain name used for your organization.

Select Yes to accept putting the SIMS server behind a firewall.
