If you have already installed SIMS 3.5 and would like to add SIMS optional features to your SIMS system, do the following steps:
| 1. | Follow steps 1 through 5 in Section "Running the Installation Script," under the heading "Installing SIMS 3.5," in the beginning of this chapter. |
| This starts the SIMS GUI Installation setup script as a non-root user. |
| 2. | Select SIMS 3.5 Option from the SIMS 3.5 installation main menu, as shown in FIGURE 6-2. |
| 3. | Click Start. |

| 6. | Specify the information on the configuration page. |
| Directory Services Server Name--Enter the name of the server on which directory services are available. That is, the fully-qualified domain name of the SIMS server. |
| Directory Services Server Port--Enter the port number that the LDAP server uses. |
| Administrator Name--Enter the administrator's name, not exceeding 64 characters. The default name is admin. This is needed to configure the mail server by using the SIMS Administration Console after the installation is complete. The name you provide in this field is logged in the directory configuration file so that the administrator always has access to the directory. This enables the administrator to solve problems associated with access control. |
| Administrator Password--Enter the administrator's password. The default password is secret. Once the installation is complete, the administrator's password is needed to configure the mail server using the Administration Console. The password you provide in this field is logged in the directory configuration file. By default, this password is stored encrypted. |
| 7. | Click Apply to go to the summary page. |
| 8. | Run Setup Install by following the directions explained in Step 17 in Section "Running the Installation Script," under the heading "Installing SIMS 3.5," in the beginning of this chapter. |
