To ensure that e-mail clients are setup and configured correctly, the following requirements must be met.
| 1. | Determine e-mail directories to be synchronized. | |
| 2. | Check policies on central or distributed data ownership models. | |
| 3. | Determine how SMCS will access the entries in the gateway post offices and in the sub-post offices. |
