Uninstalling the Sun ONE Application Server SoftwareThis chapter contains instructions for uninstalling the Sun Open Net Environment (Sun ONE) Application Server 7 software from your system.

What You’re UninstallingAll components in the current Sun ONE Application Server installation directory, except for the Java 2 Software Development Kit (J2SE), are automatically selected for uninstallation. You cannot choose to uninstall individual components.
Uninstalling the Sun ONE Application Server SoftwareThe uninstallation program detects any running Sun ONE Application Server processes and stops them before continuing to uninstall.
To uninstall the Sun ONE Application Server software, perform the following steps:
- Navigate to your machine’s Sun ONE Application Server installation directory.
- Invoke the uninstallation program as follows:
- Read the Welcome page and click Next (or press Enter at the command line) to continue.
- Click Uninstall Now (or press Enter on the command line) to start the uninstallation process.
- Review the Uninstall Summary details by clicking Details.
A details listing displays the top portion of the log file. Complete information on the uninstallation can be found in the log file specified at the end of the details listing.
- Verify that uninstallation succeeded by checking to see that the Sun ONE Application Server components have been removed from your system.
