8 Backing Up and Restoring

Oracle Communications Marketing and Advertising runs within the context of Oracle WebLogic Server. System failure prevention and recovery follow standard WebLogic Server patterns.

for an overview of backup and restore tasks for Services Gatekeeper. Marketing and Advertising runs on a modified Services Gatekeeper foundation. Backup and restore tasks for Marketing and Advertising are similar to Services Gatekeeper.

Note:

The Geo-Redundancy features of Services Gatekeeper are not supported in Marketing and Advertising.

Marketing and Advertising Database Tables

You need to periodically back up the database tables underlying Marketing and Advertising. For information on backing up and restoring the database, see the database backup and restore instructions for the database product you are using.
