The Document Validation Dialog

Use the Document Validation dialog to validate a Documaker document to help ensure it is properly assembled and will convert correctly in Studio.

This dialog includes the following sections and fields.

Workspace Definition File

• the name of the workspace definition file associated with this document, if any
• Last Update – the date and time the workspace definition file was last updated

Document Summary

• the location of the workspace definition file
• Documaker Type – the type of Documaker document
• Last Validation – the date and time the workspace definition file was last validated

From this dialog, you can:

• click Update to change the workspace definition file
• click Validate to begin the validation
• select Close this dialog when validation completes to automatically exit this dialog after validation
• click Do not validate fonts if you do not want to validate the fonts in your Documaker document; this can reduce the time it takes to validate your document
