How to Remove and Install AC Power Cables

Your Sun Server X2-8 has an AC power block on the back panel. The block has four connectors. Each connector has a retaining clip to ensure that the AC connection is secure. Additionally, each power cable supplies power to a power supply slot. For more information, see AC Power Block Overview.

  1. To unlock an AC power cable, push down or lift the retaining clip.

The arrangement of the clips alternates. To remove the first and third cables (counting from the left), push down on the clip. To remove the second and fourth cables, lift up the clips.
