Oracle CRM On Demand Marketing provides configuration for using standard From Addresses when sending email invitations to contacts. An administrator must manage the addition of the new From Addresses to provide a clear indication of who is sending the email and that employees are adhering to company standards. Spam filters on email servers are continuously updated to stop emails from mass marketers. Ensure that any From Address configured is a legitimate email address with an alias configured if necessary and that someone is assigned to monitor that address.
To create an email From Address
Click Admin in the upper-right corner of the screen.
In the Email Management section, click From Email Addresses.
Click New Email Address.
In the New Email Address screen, enter the email address and description, for example, Events <events@company.com>.
Click Save.
You can edit or delete an email address by clicking the applicable icon.
