public class RuleEvaluator
extends GenericService

This class evaluates a Rule object by walking the tree and returns a value of either true or false. A Rule is generated using the atg.commerce.expression.ExpressionParser class.

Parameters:

pRule - the rule to evaluate

pMap - a map of objects which are used in the expression. The first token of an expression should be the key in pMap.

Throws:

EvaluationException - thrown if an evaluation error occurs
