The auto-reconnect feature enables a Windows session to reestablish a network connection if it is unexpectedly disconnected.
When you are disconnected from a Window session, the uttsc command displays an icon on your screen, as shown in Figure 15.8, “Auto-reconnect Icon”.
By default, the uttsc command attempts to
reconnect six times before ending the connection. You can
control the number of reconnects through the -U
option of the
uttsc command. Specifying number
-U
0
disables the auto-reconnect feature.
You can also specify the -S
option for
auto-reconnect to detect network loss.
