This document provides a complete, up-to-date description of Oracle Clinical Development Analytics (OCDA) Release 2.0.0.3 for Standard Configuration. You should read and understand all tasks described here before you begin your installation. The most current version of this About Oracle Clinical Development Analytics Release 2.0.0.3 for Standard Configuration document is available on Oracle Technology Network. Ensure that you have the most current version before you begin.

This document describes OCDA Release 2.0.0.3 for Standard Configuration. You can find related information about this product by referring to the most recent version of your OCDA user and implementation documentation. Sign in to My Oracle Support at http://support.oracle.com.
Click the Certifications tab.
The Certifications page opens and displays the Find Certifications region.
In Select Product, enter Oracle Clinical Development Analytics 2.0.0.3 (Standard Configuration).
Click the Go to Certifications icon.
The right pane displays the certification information.
Select a certification to view the certification details.
Up to release 2.0.0.3, Oracle Clinical Development Analytics was available in only one configuration in which, the warehouse was maintained in Oracle Life Sciences Data Hub (LSH).
Starting with the release 2.0.0.3, each release of Oracle Clinical Development Analytics will ship in two configurations:
Standard Configuration, in which the warehouse is maintained in a plain Oracle database
Plus Configuration, in which the warehouse is maintained in Oracle LSH.
Two configurations also differ in:
Object Versioning: In the Plus configuration, the versioning of ETL mappings, changes to warehouse tables, and the OBIEE Repository is managed by Oracle LSH. In the Standard configuration, versioning of these objects is the responsibility of the user.
ETL Coordination: In the Plus configuration, ETL execution is handled by Oracle LSH's Job Scheduling System, which calls the Backchain facility to manage the ETL workflows. In the Standard configuration, ETL scheduling and execution is handled by Oracle Business Intelligence Data Warehouse Administration Console (DAC).
Both configurations offer the same functionality. The present release, Oracle Clinical Development Analytics Release 2.0.0.3 (Standard Configuration), has the same functionality as was found in Oracle Clinical Development Analytics Release 2.0.0.3, now known as Oracle Clinical Development Analytics Release 2.0.0.3 (Plus Configuration).
Since there is no release of OCDA in the Standard Configuration prior to 2.0.0.3, there is no upgrade from a prior Standard Configuration.
If you are migrating from OCDA 2.0.0.3 (Plus Configuration) to OCDA 2.0.0.3 (Standard Configuration), perform the following steps:
Install OCDA 2.0.0.3 (Standard Configuration)
If you made any modifications to database tables or ETL System Dependent Extract (SDE) or System Independent load (SIL) in your Plus Configuration, apply the same changes to their counterparts in the Standard Configuration (Informatica PowerCenter and Oracle DAC).
Perform an initial load of data from the transactional source(s). You can do this in two ways:
Option A
Create a data mart in the Oracle LSH database, export it from Oracle LSH, and then import it into the Standard Configuration warehouse.
Connect to the DAC repository, navigate to the Setup tab and Physical Data Sources subtab.
Select the source system(s) and navigate to Refresh Date subtab.
Reset the dates to the last ETL run date in the Plus Configuration, and click Save.
Run the Execution Plan.
This performs incremental load, bringing the warehouse up to date.
Option B
Perform a full load of the warehouse using CDA- Warehouse Execution Plan.
You can refer to "Defining Data Marts" in the Oracle Life Sciences Data Hub Application Developer's Guide for steps for creation of data mart. When you define the LSH data mart, include all of the tables in the warehouse which are populated by OCDA ETL.
