D.1 Issue with Suspending and Resuming a Virtual Machine on Oracle VM

Virtual machines created by using Oracle JRockit Virtual Edition cannot be suspended and resumed on Oracle VM properly. If you suspend a running virtual machine by using the Suspend option in Oracle VM Manager, the instance might hang when you resume the virtual machine.

Workaround

When the virtual machine instance hangs, shut down and restart the virtual machine. Oracle recommends that you do not use the Suspend and Resume options for virtual machines created by using Oracle JRockit Virtual Edition.
