get-cert-prop

Syntax

tadm get-cert-prop common_options [--token=name] --config=config_name --nickname=nick_name (property_name)*

Description

Use this command to view the certificate properties. The get-cert-prop command prompts for a token password if the token is password protected.

Options

For information about common_options, run the help command.

--token|-t

Specify the token or cryptographic device, which contains the encrypted public key.

--config|-c

Specify the name of the configuration for which the certificate properties are displayed.

--nickname|-n

Specify the short name or nickname of the certificate.

Operands

property-name

Specify the name of the property that you want to view (Optional).

You can view the following certificate properties:

Nickname
Subject
Issuer
Valid From
Valid Till
Fingerprint
Serial Number
Trusted to sign Client Certificates
Trusted to sign Server Certificates

Example

tadm get-cert-prop --user=admin --host=admin.example.com 
--password-file=./admin.passwd --port=8989 
--no-prompt --config=www.example.org --token=internal 
--nickname=OTD Trusted to sign client certificates

Exit Codes

The following exit values are returned:

0: command executed successfully

>0: error in executing the command
