Description

Set up a new locally attached printer.
You can set up a new locally attached printer by using the lpadmin command.
How to Set Up a Printer by Using the lpadmin Command
Set the default printer for a system at the command line.
You can set a default printer destination for a user by specifying the LPDEST and PRINTER environment variables, and by using the lpoptions command.
