Creating a New ASM Instance

To create a new ASM instance:

1. Specify the password in the SYS Password field.

2. Specify the Monitoring User Name and Password. These credentials will help you start monitoring the ASM instance.

3. If you want to view or change the default setting for ASM parameters, click ASM Parameters.

4. Click Create ASM. The new ASM instance is now created.
