This release of Enterprise Manager employs a new method for collecting performance metrics. To reduce load and increase scalability, metrics for the Oracle VM Server and Oracle VM Guest targets in an Oracle VM server pool are collected as part of the Oracle VM Server Pool target. However, all data are delivered to the correct targets.
In the following lines, metrics starting with OVMGuest* are collected by the Oracle VM Server Pool target for the Oracle VM Guest targets. Similarly, all metrics starting with OVMServer* are collected by the Oracle VM Server Pool target for the member Oracle VM Server targets.
For more information about Oracle VM Server Pools, see Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Administration Guide.
This metric category describes the Oracle VM Server Pool Load metrics.

This metric category is used to bulk collect all disk-related metrics for all the Oracle VM Guest targets in the Oracle VM Server pool. This metric is not uploaded, but is used for alerts only. You can set separate thresholds for each Oracle VM Guest using the Target ID. Different thresholds can be set for different Oracle VM Guests based on the Target ID. Only the collection schedule remains same for all the guests.
The collection schedule is governed by the schedule of the Oracle VM Guest Disk Activity Scheduled metric. Any alerts generated are generated against the relevant Oracle VM Guest target.
This metric displays the name of the disk.
