Use the Resize ASM Volume page to expand or shrink the ASM volume.
Note: If the volume is formatted as an ASM Cluster File System (ACFS), it has to be resized as an Oracle File System. The Resize option is disabled for ACFS volumes.
Element | Description |
---|---|
Volume | Name of the ASM volume that you want to resize. |
Disk Group | Name of the ASM disk group for the volume. |
Disk Group Usable Space (GB) | Indicates the usage (in GB) that is specified for this volume. It need not be ACFS only. |
Disk Group Free Space (GB) | Indicates the amount of free space (in GB) available in the disk group that can be safely utilized. |
Usage | Name of the ACFS that the volume is formatted as. |
Mount Point | Location at which the ACFS file is mounted This field is displayed only when the volume is associated with an ACFS and ACFS is in the "MOUNTED" state. |
Size | The new size for the volume. Enter a size in this field to resize the ASM volume. You can choose one of the following units: M(Megabytes), G(Gigabytes), or T(Terabytes). |
