6.9.5. Starting an Oracle VM Server

When you start an Oracle VM Server, it is started using the Intelligent Platform Management Interface (IPMI), or Wake-on-LAN (WOL). If neither IPMI nor WOL have been configured, the job to start the Oracle VM Server cannot be completed. The Oracle VM Server must then be powered on manually. See Section 6.9.4, “Editing Oracle VM Server Information” for information on configuring IPMI.

To start an Oracle VM Server:

In the Home view, select the Oracle VM Server in the navigation pane. Select Start Server from the Actions menu.

The Oracle VM Server is started.
