Delete SNMP Credential Mapping

Related Tasks     Related Topics

Use this page to permanently delete the mapping of a WebLogic Server user to SNMP credentials. After you delete this mapping, use the SNMP Agents: Control page to invalidate the SNMP credential cache.

To optimize performance, each SNMP agent caches values (keys) from credential maps. Keys in the cache are removed or updated only after the cache has been invalidated. You can either wait for WebLogic Server to periodically invalidate the cache or you can invalidate it immediately. Users can access SNMP data until their credentials have been removed from cache.

This assistant does not delete the user from the WebLogic Server security realm; it only deletes the SNMP credentials that are associated with the user.
