nsslapd-changelogdir

changelog path

Description

This required attribute specifies the name of the directory in which the change log is created. Whenever a change log configuration entry is created it must contain a valid directory or the operation will be rejected.

Note:

For performance reasons, it is recommended that you store this database on a different physical disk from other databases.

If you change this value after enabling replication, the old changelog is deleted and a new changelog is created. Therefore, you should not change the value of this attribute after replication has been enabled and consumers initialized.
