Description

Specifies the number of consecutive failed bind attempts after which a user is locked out of the directory when passwordLockout is set to on. Each time an invalid password is used to bind, the password failure counter is incremented. The value of the counter is stored on the operational attribute, passwordRetryCount.

The valid range of this attribute is 0 to 32767, with a default value of 3. When set to 0, this attribute disables lockout.
