This document is a replacement for Oracle Fusion Middleware Enterprise Deployment Guide for Oracle Identity Management for Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g Release 1 (11.1.1.7).

1 Deploying Identity Management in an Enterprise

The most recent Oracle Fusion Middleware Enterprise Deployment Guide for Oracle Identity Management for Release 1 was the version for 11g Release 1 (11.1.1.5). The Oracle Fusion Middleware Enterprise Deployment Guide for Oracle Identity Management is no longer being updated for Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g Release 1.

Oracle Fusion Middleware customers who are setting up a new Identity Management enterprise deployment should use the most recent version of Identity and Access Management 11g Release 2 (11.1.2) and refer to Oracle Fusion Middleware Enterprise Deployment Guide for Oracle Identity Management for 11g Release 2 and the Release Notes for 11g Release 2.

Customers who use Oracle Internet Directory or Oracle Virtual Directory as part of their enterprise deployment should use the most recent Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g Release 1 Oracle Internet Directory and Oracle Virtual Directory and refer to the corresponding directory deployment details in Oracle Fusion Middleware Enterprise Deployment Guide for Oracle Identity Management for 11g Release 1 (11.1.1.5), at
