public class ShutdownRequestAdapterException
extends AdapterException

The ShutdownRequestAdapterException is thrown to notify the caller that the adapter handler that is processing records, will no longer process records handed to it. In all but exceptional cases, the caller should not catch this exception, or if it does catch it, should re-throw this exception and allow the application to handle it.
